Ok, so .... is there certain quests that you CANNOT do before meeting with Caesar's Legion? Or do you have to go about it a certain way? B/c on my factions screen or w/e, Caesar's Legion is neutral towards me, but if I don't have a legion suit on, they shoot at me on sight. So, I figured, "oh I'll just wear this legion suit I found in nipton... (maybe you can't kill the mongrels in the main building of nipton?) and they won't shoot and once I talk to Caesar, it'll all be good." Not the case, they ignore me and take me across the river when I have the armor equipped, but right before I go into Caesar's tent, the dude outside the tent goes, "you won't get away with that" (when I haven't done anything) and attacks, making everyone hostile.

I've tried running past him, but as soon as I get in the tent everyone in there attacks me before I can talk to Caesar. I mean, I was invited there and everything... I'm neutral on status and they still attack me! wth? I really wanted to join with them and had been skipping NCR tasks as much as possible.

Anyone know where I went wrong? Otherwise, I'm gonna have to start over. =/

The guy outside of the entrance is high ranking, so he sees through the disguise. Otherwise maybe your glitched?

yeah, he's high ranking... but why would he attack me when a) CL is supposed to be neutral towards me b ) I was invited to talk to Caesar?
