Can thieves steal from my property? I read on a different forum, and Im not alittle scared to store my good stuff in my house. Can someone clarify this for me please.

if you keep it in a container. it will stay there and no one can steal it.

if you drop it into the game world (like on the floor or on a table) i heard it can move around and possibly disappear.

I've heard thieves can enter your house in Riften but won't if you are a thane and have the housecarl and/or join the thieves guild.
