So I'm running a SSD + HDD setup, and I'd like to have my game save to my D drive, but I can't figure out how to change it (It saves to my SSD instead). If anyone could show me how to have the same save onto my HDD instead I'd be very grateful. Thanks in advance!

It's probably more trouble than its worth and I havent actually tried this but it should work since the program shouldnt know windows is tricking it.

First backup your saves
Open up disk management
Shrink your HDD volume by a couple gigs and format it as a seperate partition
Mount the partition in your save games folder
Restore your saves to the folder and you should be good

If you google "Mount drive to Folder windows" you can get more detailed instructions.

The save games are stored in the "Documents" folder. You can right click that folder in Explorer and move it to any other place. That will cause ALL files in "Douments" to be stored in that other place, including most save games.

Lol I forogt about the documents folder. However saves are also written/synced to the Steam folder so his recomendation for the documents folder will keep your sav es backed up on the SSD. You can use the method I mentioned in conjunction if you want all saves off the drive.

TBH I wouldnt worry about the saves unless space is a concern. SSD's can handle a couple million writes per sector before they die so if you spam quicksave 1000 times a day that part of the drive will last about 6 years.
