Can you copy XB360 Saves into PC to play?

Post » Sun Jun 10, 2012 12:50 pm

I originally bought Skyrim on the 360 back in november, but I got Skyrim on the PC not too long ago, and would like to play it on the PC.

Is there any way that I can play off of XB360 saves on a PC, or is that a no-go?

Thanks

yeah, you can, people do it all the time. someone on this forum was doing this for people who were experiencing game bugs, they'd take the 360 save files, load them on the PC, then use the console to remedy the bug, and then give it back to the people via email

Gotta ask.

Why couldn't bethesda make a utility to allow mods to be packed in away that can be unpacked and applied by the console?

They could. But even IF Sony and Microsoft allowed it (which they have said they won't iirc), every mod would need to be tested to be 100% compatible with each other and compatible with the console hardware.

Let's not go there, please. Currently the only way to legally get a mod on a console is with a dev kit. Other methods of doing so aren't discussed here.
