Im playing on PS3, so no mods. Had to do some jumping/climbing to get there.

And before you ask, no, im not riding on a ufo

Well the white is clearly snow... Blue... I donno. Top of the College of Winterhold? Some other place? I donno, I haven't been to most of the 'spectacular' places in Skyrim yet...

It's the space core, blown up to massive size.
Which leads me to believe you are not play on a console.

Well tbh, I dont think anyone playing this game was ever meant to be able to get there, since there are no paths leading up there. But you can get there quite easily with some jumping.

You're on top of a dwemer ruin. I don't want to say more because it will give away the location.

Dood - I know eggzachly how you got there - I did the same thing. :-)

It was, shall we say, a 'big loop' from another location.
I've exhausted every single quest in the game and am really just messing around, looking for ore deposits and taking odd repeat missions for various guilds and jarls until the friggin' DLC comes out, or my character hits level 81 (he's 70 now), or I just get too bored (that would be the worst outcome, because it will mean that my chances of buying the DLC when it's released will drop to near zero.)

Can you be more spesific with that big loop?

Because I just basicly jumped up the mountain till I reached that place
