For some more extra challenge: Use the 9mm pistol throughout the whole game. No other weapon but the 9mm Pistol.
Don't know how Deathclaws would be fought like this. :bolt:

No Fixer, Stims, or Hydra/ Doctors Bags either.
You can only replenish health by drinking from toilets or sinks.
You can only carry 50 9mm rounds at a time.
No armor of any kind, only clothing.
If you see an enemy, you have to attack it.
No fast travel.
No Antivenom.
No companions.

Now THAT'S a challenge.

No Fixer, Stims, or Hydra/ Doctors Bags either.
You can only replenish health by drinking from toilets or sinks.
You can only carry 50 9mm rounds at a time.
No armor of any kind, only clothing.
If you see an enemy, you have to attack it.
No fast travel.
No Antivenom.
No companions.

Now THAT'S a challenge.

Add to that list:
Only take crappy/useless perks like Here and Now.
No Rad-Away or Rad-X. Only Doctors can heal your Radiation.
Can't raise Barter above 25.

Fine then I will accept the challenge:

hardcoe Mode
Very Hard Mode
No music
No Vats
Crosshairs off
No Hud

I will get to level 10 (if I can without dying) and then start DM. I will post that story here.

I didn't even know this game had a crosshair reticle...I just checked and mine must've been off this whole time..

I really just can't bring myself to do a lot of this stuff.
I don't play the game on Very Hard because having to pump 90 bullets into something to drop it just shatters immersion for me, and I'm not gonna stop using things like armor and stimpaks because those things make Fallout, Fallout.
I might shut my HUD off for my next playthrough, but not much past that.

I'd like to see someone not run for an entire playthrough with no fast travel. Not gameplay challenging but mentally challenging.

Good news is: When you first wake up, you're walking. Bad news is: You'll probably go nuts within a hour at most.

Edit:

I can make due with no VATS, no Stimpacks, and very rarely Bartering these days. But beyond that, I would probably go whack.

That and there's ways around such implications like no HUD and alike.

All this and you have to drop a live grenade at your feet every 3.2 seconds. I'm in! :hubbahubba:

I can top this, no guns not weapons. Just your fists. And you can only eat radroach meat, you can also not exceed 500 caps nor can you use speech checks. You can also cannot use the NCR radio for supplies and you run off of cliffs whenever you encounter one. No combat perks, and you must fist fight death claws 3 at a time. :ahhh:

That's easy but it'd take a LOT of bullets to kill one.

Deathclaws cannot "see" you when you're standing on an object like a rock a car or in a felled farm silo. Your warn status will turn to danger but quickly go to caution then hidden, until you shoot them again.
