Hey Bethesda and other users out there.

I'm having a really big problem with the Lucky 38 casino. Everytime i go into it i cannot use the elevator or talk to any of the bots inside. I have both "The House Always Wins,I & II" Im getting really aggravated with not being able to continue. The only possible thing i could think of was when i first tried to enter and i didn't pass the credit check... so i just shot down all the bots and walked in. I don't know if that screwed it up or not but i've gotten way too much farther to go all that way back. SO if you could please fix this i would be very greatful. I have it for the Xbox 360 btw.

I think the only way to access the elevator is to talk to Victor.

is he there still? or did he die somewhere?

The elevator doesnt work. You must chat with Victor every time. If he doesn't respond, then yes, you have a problem.

Ya Victor wont saying anything or i cant select him. I just get that click sound when u cant do something.

I hope you have a save game to step back to before your save bugged out.

well ya but its like 6 lvls ago and ive done alot sense.

well, victor is basically on every floor, did you try going outside, make your companions wait, talk to victor(out side), talk to victor(inside at elevator)?

ya i talked to victor outside and he tells me taht mr.house is waiting for me inside. then i get in and try too talk to victor but nothing happens.

I think you are out of luck. Try not to kill the robots next time. An alternative is to go and do another short quest and then travel back and see if that helps. You can do one of the ones in freeside fairly quickly.

Well i'm not going to start over because i gotten way too far. They really need to fix this. I mean this game is about discisions, and i chose not to get a credit check and so im banned from the story. wtf???

I'm wondering how you defeated the security to get into the strip, those bots are definitely not easy take downs, I'm pretty certain the devs designed it so that credit check or passport was needed to make sure the player was at a decent level first, I had a host of weapons by the time I got there but I was not about to take those bots on, easiest way to get in is a passport which can be obtained by doing jobs for the king.

lol well the incinerator drops them like flies so it wasnt that difficult. besides each bot had a key to get in so it seems like the devs gave you a way in.

The lucky 38 is sooo bugged its amazing people are actualy able to talk to Mr.House when they reach the strip. This game has been one bug after another I reached the lucky 38 found Victor dead on the steps went inside had every robot shoot at me could never even engage the dialogue with Mr.House until I went to the Fortifed Hill when he was in the bunker but still wouldnt respond to me when I came back. Had Arcades mission backfire on me when they swooped in on the vertibird at the Dam the team opens fire on me once they drop down. Its like the designers made things in such a way that you can't explore without hurting certain missions ie Vault 22, Crimson Caravan, ED E, Boone. Word of advice get to the strip asap.

Ya i have to say everything u said is true. The bugs seem to be worse than fallout 3.

The only adivce I could offer is that if you are playing on the PC open up the console commands menu, select victor, and type:

Resurrect

Then see what happens. If that doesn't work:

Activate

If that also doesn't work you could always try:

Disable
Then without exiting, Enable

THough should at least do somthing. If not, then you're screwed.

WELL, now do i not only this bug but now i got hit with the xbox corrupt dlc save one. Damn u all developers!!! this is why u have a beta for others to try.
