I was going to make a comprehensive thread listing the issues I have encountered after I'd finished my 200+ hour playthrough but this issue that has only just arisen has stopped me dead in my tracks.

I have to go to that random shack in "I Could Make You Care" to access Elijah's computer but EVERY time I try to enter, the game freezes/crashes whilst loading. This may be due to my previous actions in that shack, but I don't rightly know for sure.

Regarding my previous actions, I kinda felt the need to "tidy up" whilst harvesting everything that could be used in crafting. I dropped all of the Bent Tin Cans behind the shelves to your right when you enter. Now, I'm no programmer but I'm guessing that maybe all of those clustered items are crashing my game. Either way, I need to know and if it is my fault, how the hell do I "fix" it? If I could just get into the shack again I promise I'll tidy up properly, but if I can't get in then I'm permanently screwed.

It was happening to me too. Here's a temporary solution from the wiki, until they patch it:

"Game may freeze each time you attempt to enter Gibson's shack. The load screen will freeze (roulette wheel stops spinning) and you will hear a fire crackling.
WORKAROUND - (Confirmed) Approach the hut but don't go in. "Wait" untill the next day (in this case I waited 12 hours, 8:40pm till 8:40Am) then enter the Hut. Retried from save and confirmed I can enter the Hut only if I wait till next day, other wise load screen freezes. NOTE: you may need to deselect the quest i.e. make another quest your primary one."
