My companion veronica decided to leave and I sometimes catch her running through doors when I change areas. One time I caught her and told her im ready to go to hidden valley to contact the brotherhood.

She is still missing and when I went to hidden valley she was nowhere to be found. Therefore I cannot tell yes-man that I have contacted the brotherhood and end the game.

I also cannot add any new companions because it still says I have one attached to me.

Anybody know a work-around for this?

I've just been doing side quests, but it is getting very boring.

You can meet with the Brotherhood without having her as a companion. You just have to find the bunker they are in and talk to the intercom.

I have he same problem with companions but with Boone. He's just gone, and I cant add a new companion.

I talk on the intercom and it only gives me the option to see myself out.

I've picked the door, but it just leads to another door which requires a key.

I have seen the brotherhood paladins, but they just kill me.


Recently it said she was going back to the 188 so I went there and found her about 20 feet away from me, she then began running. She was faster than me and she is again missing.

I also sent rex back to the 38 and he is not there.


The companion system needs a huge overhaul.
