On my first character save I had two companions, ED-E and Boone, but I told ED-E to stop following me. Even though I only had Boone following me, I still couldn't get any other companion to follow me. Because of this issue, I started a second character save and picked up Veronica. I went to Cassie to tell her to follow me and she tells me I have too many companions even though I only have one with me. What is going on?

you can only have 1 humanoid and 1 creature at a time.


so ED-E and Rex are the 2 creature companions

and the rest are humanoid so you can have either rex or ed-e plus one of the other companions.

Kill them all. Companions are no good. Kill them now.
