Seriously, if you have all of the globes it adds a whopping 7lbs of carry weight. You can have 2 companions that between them can carry upwards of 500lbs. This really isn't that big of an issue.
As I said, think of it like karmic retribution. You went against Mr. House and as a result you're forced to carry around the mark of that shame for the rest of the game.
I understand that you should not have to carry around even .3 weight in quest items. You should be able to drop quest items and/or quests, but until that happens I'm sure you can survive with an extra 1-7lbs of weight in your bags. This isn't some huge travesty that's going to adversely effect the rest of your game.
Sure, it doesn't affect the overall game greatly, but it just means that I'm going to have to drop more of my stuff more often (kind of big to me). I don't like using followers either as they glitch on me (happened 3 times where they got lost in the game and I had to load up a save 30mins back), and in my opinion, it seems a little cheap using them to kill everything. I tried giving the Snowglobes to them as well, they can't carry those. It's not like I'm asking for the entire game to be changed, I just want it so (if sided with Yes Man) that I can:
a. Carry them without having to worry about weight gain (make weight 0).
b. Drop/Store them (make quest items drop-able or make the Snowglobes a non-quest item).
c. Be able to place the Snowglobes on the stand without being paid for it.
d. Have Yes Man, a Securitron, or someone else in the game buy them from you.
Any one of these options is fine with me, karmic retribution doesn't cut it.
