Hi There,

I created a mod which adds a few new spells, armour and weapons to the game a while ago and whilst the mod works fine on my PC since moving the mod files and my save game to my new laptop I'm unable to load my game, Skyrim just crashes to the desktop. I can start a new game however or load a game which was saved before I created the mod.

I've tried migrating my entire Steam installation from my PC to my laptop but still no luck. I've also checked the ID's with the Creation Kit and they appear to all be the same.

Has anyone experienced anything like this before and found a resolution?

Doing a Google search for this error shows one other person with this issue, they claim it's due to mods which were installed previously but later removed still being present in the save file whilst other posts in the same thread claim it's updates corrupting the file. Can anyone confirm this?

I've spent the evening checking everything in my save file and the mod file through the creation kit and as said in my OP, everything is the exact same so I don't get why it loads fine on one PC but crashes on another.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
