I have done every possible thing in the Companions quest but I cant seem to get the totems of Hercine quest to start. After reading online post I'm pretty sure I have fallen into a glitch instead of simply missing something. Some people say marring Aela or storing the witches heads in your house can trigger the glitch and I have done both of them lol. Does any one know how to get the quest to pop IF in this glitch!?!

Did you cure Lycanthropy?

If not, just keep exiting and reentering the area with Aela and hope she asks for your help in the matter.

This also happened to me,

except Im stuck at the tier one companions quests. I have done the main quests all the way through to curing Kodlak

but Im still getting nooby missions from the other companions. None of them have asked me to cure them or go slay a dragon.

would it be something to do with dropping all those rotten witch heads into a chest in jorvaskr?

Maybe try having a couple in your inventory.

OK so I'v tried putting the heads in my inventory, keep leaving and re-entering the house to talk to Aela, and taking her to the underforge and talking to her but nothing seems to be working so far...
