Cant re-install sky rim

im trying to re-install skyrim from disc but the steam thingy wont let me, it says it will download it in 6 hours, can someone advise me what to do

followed that but i dont understand the replace c bit if steem isnty in proram files,its in program files(x86)

It means change the locations of the steam folder, and the letter of your Drives, to whatever is on your PC. Not everyone's is the same.

try running a registry cleaner like ccleaner and then installing Oblivion gave me the same issues back in the day...bad uninstall left registry strings behind that prevented a reinstall. Just don't clean your whole thing with CCleaner and then come on her crying about your cookies etc. Use the registry tab only and make a backup when prompted.

Then put the full file path in for your pc. For example, I changed the one in the guide to this for me:
C:\Games\Steam

ive now got C:\\games\steam\steam.exe"-install D but it still wont work
