So my red light on my car is on, I believe its the battery symbol due to the plus and minus.

It stays on while I drive so it might have something to do with the altenater or something. I haven't checked.

How long can a battery usually last without being charged? I have to drive my dad to work today(Not to far) before we can go to the shop tomorrow.
