The rules say that the suit is determined by the first card and the direction by the second. The following cards must be in the same direction or the same suite. And yet I can only play face cards. It doesn't matter whether the second in a caravan is of the same suit or a higher or lower number, I just can't play numbered cards, but the NPC I'm playing is making moves that I'm not being allowed to do.

Am I missing something or what?

I seem to be having the same problem, or i just cant figure this game out. If someone understands this game a bit better, could you explain?

i read the holodisc that the guy gave me and it made me never want to touch caravan ever lol it sounds so damn complicated

You have to press the down key each time you want to add a new number card to a stack.

I've got the game figured out and its been pretty easy so far. Have only lost the first time. But now that I'm feeling confident, I'm raising each time, but I cant really tell if the npc is matching my raise. it doesn't appear to be happening because my total winnings are less that the raise I make

Yeah I'm a little fuzzy on the rules too. The first card makes the suit, but you don't have to stay with the same suit in the piles. Also I keep forgetting what all the face cards do! >.<
