I have no dialog option to get her to follow me...

Yes I did, using the 75 Speech option.

If I'm correct she leaves you when you have very evil karma. Maybe she won't even start to follow you if you have it initially. Don't know if you're very evil, otherwise it may be a bug.

I have another problem with Cass...
I convinced her to sell her Caravan with the 50 (?) speech option, I have the option to ask to her to join me but... The quest is still on the list, highlighted, but with all the steps greyed... Bug?!?

There are additional steps. Talk to her about it and see about visiting the ambush site to pay respects, starts another quest tree.

Did you go through all of the steps to get her? She's not just going to join with you because you got her to sell her business...you actually have to go through other dialoge to get that to happen. I'd say go back and talk with her to see if there are other dialoge options.

I have wiped out 3 towns now and stole every thing that is not nailed down and I'am still not evil. Theres somthing wrong with the FONV karma system.

This happened to me with Arcade. I decided (too late it appears) to go and get all the companions for the achievement but when I talked to Arcade all he talked about was the Legion and how he can't trust I'm not with them. With Cassidy I had to pass something like 3 speech checks starting at 50, topping out at 70 (I believe, not 100% on those numbers) to get her to join with me again. So it stands to reason that if you side with the Legion (like I did) and/or you have evil karma that she'll stop talking to you.



Yes, to continue with her companion quest she has to be in your party, then you talk to her about it.



Yeah, I spent something like 20 hours on my current evil toon before I actually started to dip into the evil side. I was neutral up until I started doing the quests for Caesar. I stole, burned and killed just about everything I saw except NCR (no reason to have them pissed at me so early) and it still took 2/3rds of the game before it happened. IIRC on my good karma toon I had positive karma before I ever stepped foot in the Mojave Outpost, while following the quests and not exploring much.
