Just wondering whether upgrading to 11.12 will remove the fixes that were added in 11b and 11c performance drivers? The 11.12 release notes mention nothing of Skyrim, for some reason....

Yes it will remove the fixes..

that is why they provided the 12.1 Preview drivers

which fixed some of the other issues unrelated to skyrim but caused by the 11.11c's to be resolved.

12.1 feels like a brand new set of drivers... mind you some people aren't finding the profiling system working ....

I noticed the massive red text, "It is highly recommended that all gamers use the AMD Catalyst 12.1 Preview driver."

How exactly are we gamers supposed to know about this when they don't link it anywhere on their drivers page?

because it is a beta....
and those of us gamers that are aware of it.. will be aware of it.. and provided we aren't douches...... we'll share that link and knowledge with others.
