Cause-and-Effect from Skyrim choices : V

Has anyone confirmed any yet?

Choosing to serve or deny Hermaeus Mora for Septimus, refusing Blades to uh... do something which I wont mention, wearing Konahriik/collecting all masks, collecting all the Shouts.... Any of these/others have any real effect on the story or dialogue? With anyone at all?

Some said that having killed Alduin changes some of Miraak's dialogues.

When you first run into Miirak...or Miraak, he makes a very dismissive comment about how he could have done that, you know, when he got around to it.

Hm. So maybe worth killing him before I get my hands on the DLC

EDIT: Bah. That's IT? And here I was hoping that he'd be more along the lines of 'Oh, you killed him huh? Guess to show I'm better, I'll kill you!"

cause and effect doesn't really exist in skyrim, it's either do or don't

there's mention of previous deeds but it doesn't affect the outcome

Use the first Black Book again, and you'll meet Hermy, who tells you that the Infinium was just the beginning, and you're allowed to explore.

...It...scared me a little when it happened...I wasn't expecting him to take THAT form...

that is one of the dumber dialogue effects as he says something like "we meet again my champion" yet I told him off in skyrim.
there's an extra line or 2 of dialogue for certain deeds but nothing of importance

the only exception is the blacksmith gives you quests if you're in the thieves guild

Dammit. And here I was hoping if I told Delphine to go and jump off of Snow-Throat instead of fulfilling their assholish orders, they'd side with Miirak and I could finish what the Thalmor started.

He was quite aggrevatingly dismissive about our 'little crumbling College.'

Yep. This is why I'm done with Skyrim.

I blame Beth for it too. They kind of lead you on with some interesting choices in the main game with a variety of situations, but none of it is going to be addressed, I think. It's an illusion (or I assume so. If the game has been out a year, and this is what's been released so far, then I don't expect much).

Really? In the States, especially the south, "Bless his/her heart." is the polite equivalent of "That poor little bastard"

In all fairness if you tell him you aren't his champion in Skyrim his response amounts to "your free will is an illusion my little champion, I don't care if you acknowledge me".
