Change the amount of "XP" gained from crafting one t

Post » Tue Jun 19, 2012 3:10 pm

I have a mod that I want to change the value of items being crafted to not give the player crafting the item skill adv for smithing. Is there any way to change the amount of XP you get from crafting items. I can't seem to find it. Any help would be great.

As i understand it, you can't set xp gain for individual items. This is governed by the multipliers applied to the smithing skill which can be viewed under Charcter, Actor Values and then highlighting the smithing skill.

There is another option which may help out, if you can create your items at the Atronach Forge, this does not give (according to USEPwiki) any skill advance.
Creating items via the atronach forge does seem a bit more indepth than creating items at a work bench. I haven't created items in this way, but i suspect it may be possible since you can add items to the AtrFrgAtronachForgeResultList and AtrFrgAtronachForgeRecipeList,
