Main Character:

Race: Nord

Appearance: Long Dark grey Hair, Stubbled Beard, Scars across face, Warpaint is the Eye shadowed one but coloured very light red to look like bruises

Level: 81

Character Background:
Son of a Skaal Hero the Nordic people of Solstheim Returning to Skyrim to lay his fathers sword and ashes to rest .
He was Captured while crossing the boarder and is now searching for his fathers belongings so he can restore honor to his name.
( I use the Nord Hero Sword as his Fathers Sword reforged and once honor is restored I glitched the elemetal fury enchantment on it for added effect)
As a Skaal He is an adapt Ranger and can live off the land (hunts, cooks and mixes potions using the shacks in the wild)

Gear:

-Nord Hero Sword 1-hd (enchanted/glitched with Elemental Fury)
-Shield of Ysgramor
-Armor: Full Wolf Armor (Execept while in towns, hunting and other none combat quests) - I wear Ulfrics Torso Clothing with the wolf gear then. (i think its the closest you can get to a nightswatch (from game of thrones) without the many mods.

Skill Focus:
- 1-handed Swords (sword only perks, no duel wield or paralayzing back power attack)
- Block (Full tree)
- Heavy armor (left side of perk tree only)
- Archery
- Alchemy (first 3 perks following the right sided path, stopped at benefactor)
- Sneak (moderate sneaking abilities used mainly for archery bonuses)

Play Style:
-Master Difficulty (anything else just doesn't cut it)
-Werewolf using cured ring of hircine (I chose not to complete so I can roleplay to the random transformations)
- Shield Charge for crowd control backed by disarm/unrelenting force shouts
- Heavily armored enemies gets Marked for Death shout lasted at them.
- Aura Whisper Shout while hunting (werewolf realism/roleplay as picking up scents)

Werewolf Form:
- Battle Cry before Transform, gives an extra distance while you wait to unleash Howling hell
- Terror Totem (Fear howl) - Take advantage of the feed and howl glitch
- Running power attacks to disable enemies during prolonged combat with many enemies to give you extra crowd control
- Use Line of sight to dodge arrows (deadly on master)

Ha I could go on but thats the main outline of my main character, im sure he will take the fight to the Vampires in dawnguard too!

Eckoure (Breton)
Blind since birth, Eckoure has been somewhat protected by his parents. He lived with them in Kvatch (rebuilt around 4e 171; the start of the Great War). In an act of rebellion, he trained his other senses throughout his younger years and later began training with weapons. He became an adept archer and a competent swordsman. By his late teens, his father had relented and allowed him to come along on hunting trips. He hunted as hobby as he worked his way around Cyrodill trying to gain membership to various guilds, to no avail due to his apparent handicap. After many years, he decided to try his luck in Skyrim, especially after hearing about the hunting prospects.

Eckoure made his way across the border only to find himself witnessing a mass arrest. He kept himself hidden and made his way to the nearest settlement that wasn't near those that were arrested; Riverwood. (I played the Helgen attack as a formality, but ignored it as part of his story). Shortly after making it to Riverwood, a dragon flew overhead and out over the Barrow. A little while later, and Imperial showed up; Hadvar. Eckoure volunteered to take the message to Whiterun (and the quests that followed.) After defeatin his first dragon, he heard the call of he Grey Beards. He did not heed the call but instead made his way to Solitude at the behest of Hadvar. At last he caught a break. He hunted between assignments so as to keep his skills sharp.

During his time with the Imperial Legion, whilst on assignment to pose as a Stormcloak in Dawnstar (I forget what I had to deliver), he was chased from there pratically to whiterun by a giant. This has caused Eckoure to suffer from Gigantasophobia (fear of giants). After helping the legion take over Skyrim Eckoure made his way to Whitrun where he proved himself to the Companions. During his time with the Companions, he started feeling himself drawn to High Hrothgar and would stare up at it from the gates of Whiterun (I think it's cool that you can see HH from Whiterun, lol). Even though he is blind, he never failed to look in the right direction; evidence that the pull was getting strong.

After he finished with the Companions, he returned home to Proudspire Manor in Solitude, far away from High Hrothgar and the pull he was feeling. Retired from both the Legion and Companions, he now works as a blacksmith making weapons and armour (which he sells in bulk or complete sets) around Skyrim. The pull he feels towards High Hrothgar is steadily getting stronger.

That's his story so far. I do have back stories for two more characters, but I'm still working on them.

Thanks, I usually like to take time over my backtories, but this one wrote itself.

Funnily enough, my pure mage is rather similar to your Battlemage. I intend him to be somewhat evil (shame there's no reputation system to reflect that)

One of my characters is on my sig, but I've not played him in awhile. But I'm just starting a new character based on Geralt of Rivia. You can see the build here http://skyrimcalculator.com/#135617

I'm playing as a Breton close to the Witcher's appearance, grey hair, scar down side of face and a white eye. He focuses on helping people kill the undead, the dead and everything in between. I'll be playing as a Vampire looking for a cure, this is his main goal. His primary attack is a steel enchanted sword with duel enchanted daggers as backup. A master in Fire Destruction and Illusion magic, also Restoration for turning undead and magical wards. Alchemy for poisons and Enchanting so he can have the most effective weapons at all times.

In terms of background he has none. He can't remember who he is but he has these skills and he uses them. As I play he may find out more about his past but I'm leaving him as a blank canvas.

Don't forget to post how you back up your stories via play style

example: my Skaal Nord has a great respect for bears and wolfs and rarely combats them without good reason (such as a bear that has killed people and you have seen the evidence, then i would slay it) I use animal alliegance alot to bypass packs of wolfs.

he uses his fathers sword and only that out of honor and respect and is focused on restoring it to it former glory (smithing/Eurland grey-mane nord hero weapons crafting)

if faced with a single humanoid npc such as a thief or assasin or orc etc.. he will remove shield and go blade to blade with them in true swordsman style

For my characters I usually just loosely follow the basic mage, warrior, thief classes and just play my own way, but I decided to role play a character when I was getting bored of Skyrim and ended up having alot of fun with him. So anyways, here he is.

Name: Aresh
Race: Dunmer
Gender: Male

Bio:
Aresh was an Imperial archer before and during the Great War. After the war ended he continued to serve the Empire, but due to his problem with taking things that were not his he was forced to run away from the military or be arrested . After he left the military he used his archery skills to hunt and live off the land, as he couldn't settle in a city while on the run. He would briefly visit cities to trade for supplies and steal or pickpocket before retreating to the wilderness. He was eventually caught and, due to a mix up, was sent to be executed at Helgen instead of a lesser penalty.

After having a second chance at life, he decided to join the companions and do some good, while still being a thief. He became a werewolf and due to turning so much and killing so many people in that form decided to cure himself before his morality was gone.

Currently he is a member of the Thieves Guild trying to forget his time as a werewolf.

Playstyle:
Mainly archery, with some one handed (swords) with restoration and alchemy for healing. Plus he obviously pickpockets and steals alot of stuff. He also has never and will never murder anyone (aside from the whole werewolf thing). He's a peaceful thief.

Playstyle:
- master difficulty
- one-handed duel-wielding dagger master. Alchemy; Like to have a good poison ready for a little venomous advantage.
- Vampire so that I can have enchanced sneak and better illusion based skills.
- Light armor, Alteration, Illusionist, and restoration to help give me an edge and more options for survivability.
- Master in archery.
- Fully mastered as a sneaky assassin
- Alchemy; got all poison perks including Concentrated poison.

Well my character's background story is pretty complicated. He ends up traveling to nearly all the provinces before ending up in Skyrim; actually I'm planning on writing a book series on him. I'll try and give a quick overview of his time in Elsweyr.

My character is Garveshi Avanichi, currently now an assassin in the lead of the dark brotherhood. Garveshi is one of the greatest crime and evildoers mankind has come to know amongst the southern provinces and was many things in his time. Thief, Bandit chieftain, Highwayman, Serial Killer (had his reasons for murder), Pirate Captain of the Topal Seas, duelist, bounty hunter, mercenary, etc. Born amongst the sands of the mighty Elsweyr inside the city of Senchal, a more wretched hive of scum and villainy. He was raised by an Imperial trader named John Aldrivich whom he called his father who took him and his brother, Malakai in after their mother left them to survive out in the streets.

In the city of Senchal, the only way to properly run a business is to have a good standing amongst the crime lords. One of the gangs, The Black Talon, was whom John owed fealty too. Having a run of bad luck on making good sales he ends up owing a debt to one Crime Lord Gorvair Endulith, leader of the black talons. Unable to ever gather up the money required to pay, ends up meeting the wrong end of a blade by one of Gorvair's lackey's. When the trade shop came to a close, Garveshi and Malakai were forced back out onto the streets again, except that now John's dept fell down to them having to pay it off otherwise they will end up meeting the same fate as he, so they ended up convincing Gorvair to allow them to join the Black Talons.

Helping out in many Crime Sprees, including extorting money from shopkeepers, robbing houses, or stealing goods from the local trade caravan, they ended up paying their dept to Gorvair. Not only that but Gorvair didn't want to let them go claiming that they are too good to be put out on the street so he ends up offering them a real position in the Black Talons. Of course, they agree and continue their Local Crime Spree throughout Senchal for many years, basking in the wealth it had provided. As several years passed committing crimes eventually began to change Garveshi and Malakai in different ways. Malakai was growing power-hungry, wanting to run the Black Talons for himself while Garveshi eventually grew more violent. He enjoyed mostly the occasional murder and espionage he had to commit throughout the city, resulting in him growing more violent and merciless everyday. Malakai however disagreed with Garveshi's growing violent attitude however and eventually grew to fear him.

One day, someone had arranged for Gorvair's assassination through a dark brotherhood contract and succeeded. Being the 2 most successful men in the whole organization, succession fell between Garveshi and Malakai. Garveshi had no desire for leadership and thus allowed his brother to succeed the Black Talons. But everything ended up in one twisted event after another. Malakai had now arranged for his brother to die, fearing that some men in the Black Talon may decide to start a war in Garveshi's name. In arranging for an "accident" Malakai ended up buying off and earning the trust of Garveshi's most loyal friends, they all end up betraying him one after the other. Eventually, Garveshi was forced to hide out in the very shop that John had died. The Black Talon had assumed that Garveshi met his end at someone elses blade...or so it would seem. Pondering over his thoughts that all his friends had betrayed him, he wanted revenge...on ALL of them!!! And so eventually he tracked them all down on his own, killing each and every one of them until his brother was the last on the hitman list.

Facing off against all the members of the Black Talon, it all filled Garveshi with an inner rage that could not be sated until he got to watch his brother's head roll on the floor. He ended up killing each and every one of them in Cold Blood. So many Black Talon elites fell at the end of his blade that pretty much the whole organization had been wiped out by his hand. Thus, their ending up being just one man left to kill by the time all the men had met their end at his blade. A great fight between Garveshi and his brother Malakai rolled out between eachother for a good long while before mortally wounding eachother. Garveshi in the end however, ended up decapitating his own brother like he had pictured in his own mind and burned the whole organization to the ground, thus leading him to leave Elsweyr and all he held dear.

After his adventures in the other provinces, he eventually ends up heading to Skyrim after being the most wanted by several organizations. He ended up retreating to Skyrim, where he had never set foot and no one knew him, a perfect place to remain anonymous for a time. Thus, leading up to the events of the dragonborn.

If you meant my backstory thanks. It was actually my first time roleplaying a charactor. I decided he was a dunmer, imperial soldier, archer, and thief and then expanded on it. I couldn't believe how much fun I had with him. He will join the Dawnguard when that comes out because it seems like a good cause. But if the Dawnguard are not as good as they seem to be he will just stop helping them and quit.

Age: 23
Race: Imperial
Birthsign: Steed
Spoiler

General Appearance: Despite his rough and ready appearance Kai maintains a very masculine attractiveness about him. His scruffy face is often covered in a varying amount of wounds, dry blood and dirt. His nose is broken in several places and scars are scattered across his olive coloured skin. His eyes are light blue colour and his hair a jet black. Slicked back and kept clear of his face. Rarely clean shaven, the lower half of Kai’s face is often shrouded in a shadow of stubble, with sideburns connecting his thin beard to his thick hair. Kai isn’t exactly tall standing at only 5’10, though he is extremely well-built with an athletic and toned body achieved through years of combat training and experience. Kai has very few noticeable scars as his skin tends to heal very well, however it is rare to see Kai without some form of scar or wound at any given time. Kai has a tribal tattoo that encircles his muscular upper left arm.

Skills: Kai is a master of combat, in particular his speed, stamina, agility and sheer aggression give him the upper hand in most fights. It is not unknown for Kai to lose a fight although this is usually down to extreme fatigue or unconsciousness, as his incredible resilience and refusal to back down keep him fighting even when he is on his last limb. Kai tends to steer clear of using weapons and allows his body to do most of the work, after years of working in the field of martial arts; he is somewhat an expert and can even face those who are armed on equal ground. When it comes to magical ability Kai is powerless, he has no idea how to begin to use the arcane arts and instead turns a blind eye to its practise. Kai is very agile and his acrobatic ability allows him to manoeuvre himself extremely well, both in and out of combat. Years of martial arts training have made him extremely flexible and as a result Kai is an able gymnast. Despite his combat prowess, in warfare Kai is not as skilled as an average soldier. One-on-one combat is very different to tactical warfare, and Kai’s inability to take orders from anyone makes it harder for him to work in a team and perform as part of a unit.

Apparel: Kai takes little pride in his appearance and tends to wear whatever he can find that morning, never sticking to a favourite outfit or using different clothes for specific events. Usually this results in some sort of linen shirt and leather pants, although this can vary depending on what part of the world he resides in at the time. Due to his excessive travelling Kai tends to prefer comfort over protection and even when fighting will never wear any heavy armour, such as steel or iron. He finds these too restrictive and prefers lighter armours such as leather or in some colder parts of the world fur. Kai is often to be found engaging in combat in normal linen or cloth clothes, as this allows him to utilise his speed and agility more so than any other apparel.

Weapons: “Weapons are for the weak.” Kai rarely uses weapons when it comes to combat. Though he has been known to use a bow and the occasional shortsword or dagger the only weapon he carries with him is a small knife, which even still is mainly used for hunting and skinning his dinners. Kai uses his body as his weapon, his fists are scarred and his knuckles bruised. Kai is capable, through years of training to throw a fierce punch and is also known to use a variety of kicks and blocks which allow him to combat with the most experienced of opponents.

Personality:Scars themselves are the lessons of life, left permanently on your mind, body and soul; you have never truly won a fight if the enemy cannot do as much as to lay a finger on your flesh.”

Headstrong and extremely over-confident, Kai is not invincible, something he believes himself to be. Kai revels in his aggressive nature, actively seeking out trouble and violence to show off his skill and humiliate his enemies. Rude and arrogant, Kai has very few friends and many enemies, Kai knows that he is a loner but he doesn’t seem to mind and instead takes unusual pleasure from his own company. Behind his mindless and scruffy exterior hides a brutal, impulsive, and savage killer with an excessively-violent lust for blood. Kai knows exactly what he is doing by causing trouble and does it often simply for kicks. He makes no effort to hide his personality and it doesn’t take much to recognise that Kai is impulsive and ruthless. In battle Kai has an inhumane lust for blood; aggressive and determined many people would rather avoid any conflict with such a character. Kai is also extremely resilient and is barely ever seen to back down even in cases where he has been vastly overcome. Kai revels in the challenge of combat, enjoying being backed into a corner and having to fight his way out. Despite his violent and psychotic nature, Kai is not inherently evil. Deep down it is probable that Kai does have a conscience, shown partially through the fact that he will rarely attack or engage in combat with those who are weaker than him. Though he personally considers this to be down to the fact that they are unworthy of his effort – this could be a cover up for some sentient considerations.

Nickname(s): Though she is called by her first name by her parents, she refers to herself by her middle name, Paige, as she thinks it is a much less formal and prettier name. Occasionally she will be called Bella or Belle, though she doesn’t really like it herself and someday hopes others will refrain from using it.
Race: Breton.
Gender: Female.
Age: 17.
Birthsign: The Lover.
Spoiler
General Description: The epitome of beauty, pale skin, pure, and tender to touch, with pale scarlet lips contrasting against the back drop of her snowy flesh. Paige's tresses of silky black hair flow almost halfway down her back, it is clear that she takes pride in her hair, her fringe when left to its own accord often falls down diagonally in front of her right eye, a nuisance to Paige who spends what seems a life-time banolly flicking it from her vision.
Her radiant light brown eyes, so bright, verging on a yellowy-orange colour are an endless void and seem on appearance to gaze into the very depths of every soul they meet, shaded ever more by a surrounding of eye-shadow. Her button nose is only short, yet simple, with an elegant shape and a round tip. Her face is gaunt, not thin but her cheeks are concave and defined, going against the stereotypical Breton shape. Paige is not tall for a girl, nor is she short, she stands around 5’4’’, though does not look so as she is dainty and petite in build. Her body has no visible scars or tattoos of any sort, with little decorative features, except for the make-up around her eyes, and though it is not unusual that she attains scratches, cuts or bruises, this is no more than the average person.

Skills: Though Paige is far from assertive, she has a way with people that can assure often what she wants from situations; persuasion is her forte, though rarely through a manner of speech, she lacks the confidence to use words as often as she probably should, however her daunting attractiveness often gets her out of places she’d rather not be. Given her elegance in both movement and posture, it is unnatural for Paige to attain a sneaky persona, she is no expert at covert business, and there has been many a time when it has been her innocence that has swayed her away from danger. Paige was never brought up to fight, in fact she dislikes it entirely. Her father had insisted when she was young that she learnt to use both a dagger and bow and arrow to a satisfactory standard to protect herself in what he taught her was a harsh world. If she had to have a favourite weapon, it would be her most well mastered weapon; the dagger or shortsword, her primary and really, only weapon. Though she was never properly taught, Paige often as a young girl would experiment with alchemy making potions and occasionally poisons. Over the years this talent has matured and she is now rather handy when it comes to mixing and brewing up whatever the situation or task requires, and can make most things from life-saving potions to death harbouring poisons; given the right ingredients. Paige is also a studious type; she loves to learn, though she rarely gets such chance. Paige had always wanted to become a healer and takes great interest in the Restoration field of Magicka, however despite her Breton blood she barely classes as a novice when it comes to using it.

Apparel Most Worn: Paige adorns a light, free moving outfit as she tends to find this to be most comfortable. Her top half consists of a leather corset, festooned with buckles and belts, black mainly in colour, though with some crimson coloured etchings on the shoulders that run down the sleeves. On her lower half she wears rather tight, leather pants (trousers), plain black and simple in design, the belt she holds them with is very detailed and is designed with various patterns and etchings. Her boots are long, reaching high up her shins; her trousers are tucked into the boots which are made of fine leather, and are plain and built for comfort.

Other Apparel Worn: A simple dress at first sight, a mixture of black and red material, crimson in shade. The dress is long, and trails the floor, it is dusty and reeks of age, but Paige can ignore the smell, for it is her favourite dress. The corset style top half is laced with a crisscross pattern of strings across the torso. The centre and main body of the dress is crimson, with the sleeves and sides of the dress being black. The sleeves are delicate and hang neatly on the shoulders revealing her collar bone, with a square neck shape. Half way down the sleeves, which finish around the mid forearm, is a stitched piece of lace that hangs down over each elbow. The skirt is flowing with the central crimson piece ruffled at the base, the black sides fall into a few layers, one being the same lace that appears on the sleeves. Paige lacks in accessories, with only a simple black leather buckled belt collar around her neck. She wears, underneath and mainly hidden by the trailing dress, knee length boots, leather, with buckles and straps up the leg.

Weapons: A simple maple shortbow, as well as a small quiver strapped over her back. For close range combat – if ever, Paige carries with her a small knife, it resembles only a kitchen knife in size, though the hilt of the small blade is intricate embossed with a scarlet patterned ribbon tied neatly around it.

Inventory: Paige wears a belt when on certain tasks, for this she wears an almost utility like belt, attached is her knife, as described in with her weapons, as well as a few lock-picks and coins depending on what she’s up to. Also, she may often carry, in pockets allocated on the belt, ingredients for potions, or sometimes potions themselves.

Personality: Paige would be best described as timid or even shy, though it can be said that is passionate about the things she cares about, she will go out of her way to complete a job, or to earn extra money to help at home. Paige lacks confidence within herself, but she does try to express some outgoing traits whilst working with others; she will try to start conversation if she notices others shyness, but in a large, loud group she will no doubt take a back seat and remain silent. She is not so much afraid of leadership, and will take reigns when needed of her, though she prefers to shy away from authoritative positions or at best to work alone. She is more than happy to take command from ranked others and will try to complete any task set to the best of her ability. Most would consider Paige a kind-hearted girl, a trustworthy friend, a dependable companion and a hard working employee. Paige has, as most can tell, a desire for neatness, especially when it comes to her own appearance, and that of the things around her, but she is often praised for it usually results in tidy and elegant output.

Biography: Born and raised in the Waterfront in the Imperial City, her parents had been scavengers of the land; they lived on bread and water, with the little income her father earned on the passing and stopping ships. He was a ship maker by trade, though little trade ever really reached him. He was paid poorly by rich men for fixing their ships, that was, when a job arose. Paige had always loved her Father for his efforts. Her Father had always had the dream to one day own his own ship, and has spent his little extra income, mainly gained from the tips of the wealthy ship owners, on slowly building his own boat from scratch in the Imperial Cities Waterfront district. While her Mother stayed at home, Paige had been almost forced into the working world to support her family and help her Father achieve his dream. Paige started working with the Black Horse Courier at a very young age, specifically working primarily around the Imperial City as a mere delivery girl. She was always fascinated by current affairs and recent news.

Paige considered herself to be good at her job, and most of the Imperial City had grown to know, rely and warm towards the still young Breton. Her career with the service had recently improved, with developments between the Thalmor and the Empire becoming tense and war waging. Paige was soon offered the prospect of a new job opportunity, to travel around Cyrodiil and deliver news to the other cities. Though she was not keen to accept the offer, aware of its dangerous nature, her desire to keep her house and family going meant she needed the money, and she reluctantly took the promotion offer that had been proposed to her.

Paige had set up to ride for Anvil a few days before her capture. She had been aware of the Dominions power in the south but had figured herself relatively safe from harm due to the innocent nature of her work. She rode for a few days before Anvil came into sight. It was not long before Paige had reached the gates to realise that she was not as safe as she had once assumed. Overpowered by the forces very easily, Paige was soon captured and taken by the Dominion army, unaware of where she was going or why they wanted her.

Skills: Like most typical Nords, Axel is far more gifted in the art of combat than other men, he is trained in both the use of blades and blunted weaponry though his favoured weapon, unusually for a Nord of his size, is a Katana. Without a weapon at hand Axel loves to exercise his skill in hand-to-hand combat, he has practised for most of his life and can out manoeuvre and overcome most opponents without the need for a weapon. Outside of combat he has a simple knowledge of Alchemy, able to concoct simple healing potions and weak fatigue restores (though he rarely uses them in combat), otherwise his magical talent is non-existent. He relies in battle upon stamina and incredible strength; though he is not unintelligent and will more often than not outwit his opponent before he has to resort to his reserve of resilience and power. Axel has been educated in the art of Armoury explained partially by his surname; the expertise is hereditary in his family-line which has built up quite a reputation over the years.

General Appearance: Nordic genes have blessed Axel with his tall and powerful figure, with daunting height and heavy bones Axel is noticeably larger than most other men. His history and upbringing as well as many years spent in the harsh wilderness have taken their toll on his muscular frame and allow for strength that is hard to equal. Concave cheeks, a strong jaw and a long, sharp, broken nose added with his low brow and slanted eyebrows give Axel a hard and rugged looking face, which often appears unfriendly and often serious regardless of his actual mood. His eyes too are unforgiving and their steel blue gaze reflects the harshness of the freezing cold environment that Axel has grown up with, complimented both by his thick black eyebrows and darkened surrounding sockets. His hair is unkempt and knotted; though short with a fringe styled upwards into a quiff, leaving his face clear of hair to show his hideous facial scar, across his left eye. The scar is his most distinguishable feature; it remains from a bear’s paw swipe that managed to catch his face when he was younger. The scar is also what gives him his nickname, and it has left him partially blind in his left eye (though it would be impossible to guess so).

Weapons: The Katana commonly used by Axel is a family heirloom, passed down from father to son, and is cherished by Axel to the highest degree. Given its age the Katana is in surprisingly good condition. Though the blade itself remains sharp, there are various scars, chips and cuts into the swords sharp edge, the sword’s hilt is black with a simple steel blade. Axel also keeps a small knife on his belt for the majority of time, though this is not used for combat, rather an item for skinning animals or even eating. Though Axel keeps no other weapons with him, he has been known to use other weapons in the past; such as spears and axes, it is clear though that he uses his favoured katana more so than any other weapon.

Armour/Clothing: Despite his history of craftsmanship in the iron industry, Axel prefers to stay away from metal armours, more likely relying on fur or leather protection. Being used to the freezing cold Axel takes a hardy approach to what he decides to wear, strangely, sticking to mainly light clothing, and minimal armour as this allows him to move quickly and efficiently in battle. Normal apparel for the Nord would include a silk or linen white shirt, or perhaps on a warmer day, no shirt at all though this is rare in the frozen land that is Skyrim. Simple cloth pants are often the choice of the Nord, as they allow him for ease of movement.

Other items: Axel keeps a utility like belt of helpful items to aid him on his travels:
- A map of Tamriel.
- His hunting knife.
- 30+ coins. In case he needs something.
- A leather satchel for water.
- Sometimes, some ingredients that may help in making a potion or two, or simply for eating.

Personality/Mentality: Axel is renowned for his clear mind and his kind heart. Though he is quiet in person, he possesses great people skills and can often build a strong relationship with those that he interacts with. He tries to be friendly and well liked, though he will not lie nor go out of his way to impress or attract someone whom he feels would not like him for who he is. He is a good leader, confident in himself and those around him, and as a great leader can influence and build a strong team of friends, comrades or otherwise through his ability to promote a good atmosphere and raise confidence. He is, in battle calculated and precise with his movement, relying on his able speed and stamina as well as his increased strength. Resilient, Axel is tough and rarely takes failure as an option, when he does; he does it with pride and a certainty that there was nothing more he could offer to resolve a situation. He is strong in spirit and in mind, and though it would take a lot to break him down mentally he has a weakness in that he can be overly trusting or ambitious.

General Appearance: Although short for a Nord, Gérard is still a daunting man. He stands at just over six feet, although it is not his height that gives him his powerful appearance but his bulk. Rigorous training over the years has worked wonders on the toned body and due to his muscle mass he weighs around 195lbs, though he does not appear fat. His face is masculine with high cheek bones and a square jaw. He rarely allows his facial hair to grow out, although his eyebrows are thick and inclined creating an expression of seriousness. He has dark eye sockets that frame his hazel eyes, and make his gaze something to behold. His radiant blonde hair is extremely long, and trails to his lower back. It is well kept and perfectly straight. Thanks to his slightly off-centre parting his fringe falls down his front either side of his face, partially covering his right eye.

Apparel: Gérard tends to stay away from armour for the most part, unless on the front lines of battle. His most worn item of clothing is gold embroidered white silk shirt, well made and clearly expensive yet still understated and rather simple in elegance. Usually with accompanied with his silk shirt Gérard will wear a pair of white steel greaves, atop comfortable cotton trousers, again white in colour. Strangely Gérard will usually tend to wear his white steel boots for most occasions, if otherwise he is usually found wearing no shoes at all. Another, perhaps, odd item of clothing that Gérard will wear most of the time are his white leather gloves, unless of course he is indoors. On some occasions however, especially those which require him to adorn more official attire, Gérard will swap his silken shirt for steel plate armour, painted white in the same fashion as his greaves and boots. Over his armour Gérard wears a thick white robe, left undone to reveal the plate armour beneath and long enough trail along the floor. Usually Gérard will take pride in his appearance an attribute rumoured to be part of his Bretonic nature, though he would hardly admit it. However this changes in times of war. In the heat of battle Gérard will cover his head with an elegant white steel bucket helmet, the shape of a T cut out in the centre as space for his eyes and nose. He will also carry with him a small round shield, similar to that of the Imperial Legion, with the same spikes protruding from the outside, although emblazoned with the Red Ruby of the Knights of the Nine.

Weapons: “Fortune favours the blade.” Gérard tends to have a simplistic view towards weapons unlike his attitude to his apparel, which is that as long as it’s a sword, he can use it. His own personal armoury consists of dozens of swords, his favoured being a simple steel longsword, hand-crafted perfectly to fit his height, weight and fighting style by a master craftsman. The sword itself is white steel, much the same as his armour with a simple cross shaped hilt. Its sheath is more impressive with a carved vine pattern trailing around its length, culminating at the tip which is bright silver. Gérard rarely uses any other weapons despite his collection of everything from shortswords to exotic katanas. Gérard is self-proclaimed to be almost useless with most other styles of weapon, although he has been seen in the past to quite skilfully use a halberd, so others presume he is simply being modest.

Personality: Being a religious man of sorts Gérard is often viewed as a calm, humble and respectful individual. Like most knights he maintains qualities such as honour and honesty. Gérard is well reserved and cannot be described as loud or brash, though this somewhat detracts from his charisma he is not shy. He tends to conduct himself with both dignity and composure although he is not restrictive of his ideas and thoughts when the time comes to speak up. In contrast to his reserved nature Gérard is good at getting his views across and tends to get heavily involved in political debates easily. When he believes something to be right or wrong he will defend it and will be the last man to back down in most situations, even when he is proven wrong. This can be a criticism of his persona as it often leads him to appear as narrow-minded and extremely stubborn so occasionally he will try to hold back, most of the time, however he fails. On the battlefield Gérard is almost a different man, it is noted that this is where he feels most at home, and he has a strong ability to command and rule when on the front lines of war. Gérard enjoys the challenge of leadership, and will often take the reins under difficult circumstances demanding the upmost respect from his subordinates and gaining it from those who command him. To his enemy Gérard is somewhat ruthless, he will stop at very little to achieve victory for his men and possess a strong tactical mind which makes him a hard enemy to fight. He possesses a great ability to step back and anolyse a situation eager to find ways around it and able to fight his way out of tough positions. In his own mind and ability Gérard is confident, and self-assured, he believes that the cause the Knights of the Nine are fighting for to be valuable and the gods are always held close to his heart, and remain in his best interest. He is a very holy man and at very least would do nothing by choice to upset the gods, a view taught to him by his father, he is also modest and will admit and remorse when he has done wrong, as rarely as he believes this to be.
