So yesterday I started making a build that wears no armor, playing on Adept. My Main Skills are: One Handed, Conjuration, Alteration, and Enchanting, though Conjuration is only used for Bound Sword.

Now without armor the Max Armor you can obtain, not using Dragon Hide is 350 (Lord Stone, Ebony Flesh, Mage Armor Perks) This Affect lasts right around 3 minutes. I was curious if I reduced my Restoration Spell cost using Enchanting, would Wards be a viable way to boost my Armor rating, since I believe the best one adds 80 AR, or would I get staggered too easily for it too be effective?

I am using Alteration to benefit my wolf form, by giving me SOMETHING of an armor rating, while in beast form.
