people can't read but they can ask questions on paper,

More times than I care to recall, however not as many asking if there is a beta/demo.

the beta/demo one really cracks me up, because I doubt all these people asking are concerned members of the community, who want to test the game and leave feedback for the developers....they just want a free a game to play.

Thats the only reason I want them to release a demo.... I mean, yeah id report bugs and stuff, but I really just wanna play Brink again. I played it today at QC and it was amazing. Character customization is more massive then I ever imagined.

*spoiler* The bug mask looks even more bad ass when its colored to black/darker grey. What I saw today, when you color it black, the neck covering gets a black and grey digital camo design. And the eyes turn red. It was amazing.(get the full review at the Unit 13 forums :D)

i'm primarily interested in a beta/demo to play the game.
but if i find bugs i would, ofcourse, send them to the devs

don't all start flaming me, cuz i really do need to play a good game for a change

Oh I see what you did there. Lucky you got to try it out. I always did like the bug.

Answering "Why there are no female characters in the game?" story-line-wise is that making a lot a women fight is a lot of risks for a society and that's not what They want, like the population decreasing over time because there are less and less women.
And technically-wise is that Splash Damage had a lot of restrictions in resources and time. if we ever have Brink 2, I really hope there will be female characters.
