So after reading all the powers and abilities the Vampire Lord gets, I'm sold. I decided I want to become one of them. The only problem is, I realised many of those powers a magicka based, and I have no magicka based character. My main is focused on 1 Hand and Bow&Arrows. So, I came here to ask this question:

What character should I make? I have two weeks to create a good magic based character that will be able to use the VL's powers with ease. But I still want to have some decent health and stats in other areas (say lockpicking, stealth, 1 handed and archery).

Hybrid Necromancer/Assassin

Race: Breton

Primary Skills:
Conjuration
One handed
Stealth

Secondary Skills:
Archery/Destruction (pick one)
Alchemy
Light Armor

I'd go with something along the lines of illusionist assassin seeing how you seem to like a stealth build. I'd go with illusion, one handed, archer, light armor, sneak and enchanting. With lock picking it isn't really necessary to put perks into it. As for stats you should focus on getting some magic since you want to become a vampire. I say focus on magic and health and you can make up for stamina and carry weight with armor enchantments. Also make sure to grab necromage in restoration, it is important for any vampire build.

You should pick up Restoration, get it to 70 and take Necromage and do what you want with that.

Collage of Winterhold/ Dark Brotherhood sort of build I am guessing. Do both and see what skills you have at the end of them.
