Name: Albus Dumbledore
Race: Breton
Age: 94
Build: Mage
Main Skills: Destruction, Restoration, Conjuration, Alteration, Enchanting
(Pretty much pretending the whole opening sequence never happened for this characater

)
Albus was exiled from Skyrim to an island in the far North, at the edge of the world, for 50 years, after an incident at the College of Winterhold left 4 of his comrades dead. He has returned after serving his sentence, hoping to make amends for his crimes. He is an extremely gentle and humble man, who will fight only in defence of his life or another's.
He was an incredibly powerful, yet brash and big-headed wizard in his youth, able to yield destructive powers far beyond the capability of most mages of the world, and was next in line for Arch Mage. Among his comrades was a young Savos Aren, one of the apprentices present at the time of the incident.
Albus was teaching some young wizards the fundaments of destruction magic. Another powerful wizard, although not as skilled as Albus (but equally as egotistical) chose to criticize his teaching methods. The ensuing argument led to a terrible duel between the two, which Albus won after firing a tremendous energy blast which killed the other mage instantly; unfortunately, it also killed 3 of the students he was teaching, and thus was the crime which left him with 2 choices: death by beheading, or 50 years exile. Albus chose exile, feeling guilty of what he had done, and knowing that death and peace in Sovngarde would not be adequate punishment for such a deed.
Since returning to Skyrim, his powers have waned greatly, due to his choice not to use them during his exile. He is still quite powerful, also able to summon creatures such as Atronachs, and use defensive Alteration magic in tricky situations. He has also returned to the College, where he hopes to redeem himself by helping to uncover the mysteries of the Eye of Magnus.
Name: Selene
Race: Redguard
Age: 26
Build: Assassin
Main Skills: Sneak, Archery, One-Handed, Light Armour, Pickpocket
Selene grew up as a slave's daughter in Sentinel, Hammerfell. From a very early age, she was used for sixual favours and also slavery, like her father (when Selene was 4, her mother was beaten to death by guards for stealing food).
Her father was a trained Alik'r assassin in his younger days, and in secret, taught Selene everything he had learned, in the hopes that she could one day use it to escape her living Hell. He knew he could not use these skills himself in his aging and weakened body. When Selene was 19, their master ran a knife through her father's chest after he told the man that their supply of ale had run out. In an act of fury, Selene jumped across the room with great agility and speed, and before he could flinch, she had broken his neck in two. Taking the long knife from her father's chest and vowing revenge, she moved through the Palace like a shadow, just as her father had taught her, and silently slaughtered every resident.
After her work was done, she escaped and lived for 6 years in the street, eating and drinking stolen meals, every now and then moving to a different part of the city to avoid detection from unfriendly eyes, and only ever moving at night.
On one morning, she saw a convoy of carriages pull into the market, and overheard one of the merchants speaking of crossing the border to Skyrim. Sensing this as her opporutnity for true freedom, she stole into one of the carriages and stayed there, perfectly still and silent, for 8 days, as the carriages made their long journey across Hammerfell to the border of Skyrim.
After entering the province, she leapt from the carriage and moved swiftly into the woods, hoping to hunt and find shelter, so as to plan her next move. This mistake resulted in her capture by the Imperial Legion, who were waiting for the Stormcloaks, and she happened to be in the wrong place.
After her escape from Helgen, Selene has begun to make a living performing tasks for the Thieve's Guild, and is currently on her way to Windhelm, following rumours of a strange boy calling upon an assassin for a malicious deed...
Sorry for the length, I like to be descriptive
