Character Took on Cosmetic Attributes of Another : Othor Games

I was tweaking the weapons of my Resistance character (lvl 19) and hit the button to see what my rifle would look like as a member of Security. When I went back to my menu, my character (who is white and medium body type) looked like another of my characters (llvl 10, black and heavy).

I thought this was merely temporary, so I went to the character selection screen. Sure enough, my lvl 19 now looks like my lvl 10. He still has the same abilities and save data, but he's (so far) permanently black, and shares the same body and face tattoos as my lvl 10.

sometimes i notice my cosmetics are changed on some servers (i noticed that usually while capturing stuff, but i didnt mind as long as it was just temporary. i know u are talking about the characters menu, i am just adding my thing so perhaps it will help them faster figure out where the glitch is and fix it.

I've had that issue before as well. I think it only happens when I first join a server, though. When the next map loads, I'm using the character I designed.

I had the same thing happen to me Bruce. I posted about it last week and didnt get any replies - I think its a rare bug. Now Im very careful about editing one character and then another, I just avoid doing this and only work and play with one character at a time and if I want to edit and play with a different char. I restart the game. Its a pain in the ass but I dont want my characters skins to be over written again.

This also happened to me last night, I've started doing what Trench mentioned; if I want to play another character, I *exit* and come back in. Hopefully this will solve the issue, it REALLY bugs me when my character voice/appearance changes.

Exactly the same happened with my character after I switched the weapons from rev to sec.
Right now I paused playing Brink for some days, because my favourite character is gone, and I don`t want to risk another one. It would be nice if I could change it back (after all its just the archetyp that changed).
