Of the games, but recently I became addicted to turbo. ITS THE BEST THING EVER?

Is there anywhere you can get a steady supply of it though, it seems to be few and far between. :(

And sorry for the broken post, it's off my iPhone and the controls are bad :P

I never used chems besides Med-x and Sierra Madre Martinis because stimpacks are rare in that DLC. I guess I should try out the new chems in FNV. I never found a real use for cateye and ghost sight. The pip boy flashlight works fine. I never had to use jet/ ultrajet/ turbo/ dixon's jet. Hydra seems useful, though.

You can make Turbo. You get the recipe when completing the first part of the quest "abba dabba honeymoon" at Red Rock Canyon drug lab. She asks you if you want a recipe or caps, tell her recipe.

If you put effort into it and collect all the ingredients, you can make yourself dozens and dozens of turbos. The only problem is one of the ingredients is like xander root or broc flower so it takes away from making healing powder.

I actually make it a rule for myself to never use chems unless it fits my character. I hate getting addicted.

I play med heads all the time, from M.A.S.H based tribes of military hospitals turned wasteland powers.
To Alice in wonderland and Wizard of OZ based characters, all gimped as much as possible and taking any chem perk from Nuka chemist to ones that simulate chem effects like the low light vision effect perk ( still bugged!.)

Meds however are a pain, especially early on, I take it as a "balance" issue like gambling, inventories.. etc.
The people with great stocks are..
The powder gangers.
Novac: Dr Strauss.
Camp McCarran: Conterras ( the gun merchant / crook.)
RedRock Drug lab, Khans: Diane and Jack.

I generally don't use chems either. But this is mainly because I hate futzing around with stuff that only gives you temporary boosts (this goes for spells/potions in fantasy games, too). I don't want to mess around with the addiction mechanic, either. I'm just fine with selling them for a profit, though.

The only chems I've ever really used were Mentats and Party Time Mentats in order to get a temporary stat boost so that I could make a skill check. Oh and stimpacks, of course, if you count those.
