Hi,

I can't complete the quest "Return to Sender" because Chief Hanlon is stuck, outside the main building, walking into the wall over and over. I've tried fast traveling and coming back, but he's still there, walking against the wall. All he'll say is "I'm occupied at the moment, come see me when I'm on the balcony", and I can't update the quest. I quicksaved, before I knew this bug was occurring, so reloading the game won't help. And the auto-save saved soon as I exited to the building to find him, and the error was already occurring, so I can't reload the auto-save. And the latest normal save was from 3 levels ago, and I don't want to reload that and replay 3 levels. Quicksave is usually good enough.

How can I fix this problem?

Sorry if this is addressed elsewhere...I searched and didn't find a reference to it

Edit: I have fixed the problem. It occurred to me to shut the game down completely. When I loaded the game, and fast traveled to Camp Golf, Hanlon was on the balcony, where he was supposed to be. Fast traveling away, and coming back didn't solve the problem, but exiting the game entirely did.
