If you kill the rat that is getting chased by 3 children in freeside 2 of them start to eat it and the other turns around and walks away.

there should only be two children if you have more then its a glitch.

They respawn for me. Every time I walk into Freeside I get to kill a Rat. The kids however, no longer eat the Rat. Sometimes they chase it, sometimes not. They don't seem to care when or if I kill it though. Sometimes they go over to it after I shoot it and I get a thanks but most times after I kill it they just walk away.

Since the 1.3 patch the girl chasing the rat disappeared from my game, only the boy appear.
Anyone has this issue too or they removed the girl from the setting?

I love to shoot that rat and feed them BTW.

If you shoot it close to mick and ralphs crier there are three kids on screen at the time.

You are right however only two should be chasing the rat.

OP if you click on them ( or one of them at least ) after shooting the rat they thank you.

The girl sleeps upstairs in a ruined building next to Mick&Ralph's. I think the last patch caused her to get stuck in the sleeping mode.

I thought it was a nice touch than when you shoot the rat, the kids thank you.

That's odd because as far as I know, there's two kids near M&Rs, Max and Stacey, and one kid who hangs out at the corner between the Mormon Fort and the internal Freeside gate. There used to be two of them but the girl was cut for some reason with the last patch, he's the only one who chases the rats and I've never seen him interact with the other two.

And he's still eating rat. Which is odd because he sleeps at the OMF and I'm sure the Followers would feed him.

For the record, I eated cockroaches, worms, ants, and even mantis ( in real life), not sure how rats tastes
