Children out after dark

I assume this is because Bethesda neglected to make them beds to sleep in at night like other NPCs. Whatever the case its bad parenting by the NPCs in the game!

Why do you want to look for children at night?

Nothing wrong with kids being out after dark. In fact, I think the parents throw the kids out because of the lack of privacy in the houses themselves :P

People are probably AFRAID of children in Skyrim.

Take how to destructive and mischievous children of that era were in OUR world, and then add the fact that they're invincible?

Saw that one little boy in Riverwood once just standing in the middle of the road at 3AM just staring off into space.

Freaked me out, haha.

I'd love it if when you attacked them they grew 50 foot breathed fire, shot lighting from thier hands and gained horns and red eyes, still remaining immortal but Imagine the fun of just trying to survive.

They are also immortal and impervious to vampire bites.... and people think it's strange that they are up at night?? Seriously.

In one of my games (I play 3 characters), he stands near the Inn at the intersection and looks up - weird thing is, he's been standing there for almost a month now. He's there 24/7, doesn't go home, nothing.

And a little girl stands just at the end of the town where some soldiers have their "bed" laying on the ground near a fire. She's been there just as long.

You can talk to them, but nothing else. They won't move.

There's plenty of people that don't sleep. I play a vampire and I would know since I need people to ff-ing sleep before I can bite them. I don't know why, but that's how beth implemented it. Seriously some people just go into tehir house at night and wander around till morning. In Riften the whole merchant square sits in the tavern till it's time to go out again. I've seen children sleeping plenty of times, but the whole not sleeping is all over Skryim. In fact I hardly ever sleep myself.

Children in ancient and medieval times were actually treated like little advlts. they were allowed to watch bloody executions, work as soon as they could walk and got married off quick as possible (usually the females) at around 12 years old. In fact, we cover our children in cotton wool these days with paranoia that would make the people in the old days laugh.

Children were also a lot tougher as a result and knew to run fast if they upset an advlt.

So seeing children out at night is not really a big issue as long as they``re up in the morning to till the fields or whatever!

LOL... Ah Fallout 2, the good old days.

Does anyone know what happens to the kids in Megaton after you nuke it? I think it's an oversight on Beths part.
