I am trying to recharge my weapons - pressing 'T' only gives me the option of three gems, and wont let me scroll down. Is this bugged?

Also if I have a black soul gem, filled with a lesser soul, is there any way of removing that soul and getting a proper human soul in it?

Nope, soul gems always break when a soul is removed from them . The exception is Azura's Star for obvious reasons, lore wise it is the ultimate white soul gem.

You should be able to scroll down, I can with the mouse wheel when I do it. Do you have more then 3 different types of charged soul gems?

Thanks. I have dozens of soul gems charged... not sure what the issue is. I had been able to scroll in the past.

On another matter, I have no idea how my lovely black soul gem got filled with a lesser soul!

A soul will go into the lowest container available.
If the black gem got filled with a lesser soul, it is likely that it was there was no lower level gem to fill.

I found this tricky to do after the last patch, since the arrow keys no longer move the selection. What I found worked was clicking in the selection box, then using the W and S keys to move the selection up and down.
