Choppy NPC/Audio Fix : Fallout: New Vegas

I recalled having this problem a couple years ago... WITH FALLOUT 3!!!! FFS Fix the friggin audio bug... Anyway, I removed FFDSHOW codec from my system and restarted. No more laggy choppy omfg I cannot play this game stuff.

System Specs:

C2Q @ 3.2 GHz
8GB Memory
GTX280
Winblows 7 x64

FYI this doesn't fix the "NPC Studdering" when having an NPC on screen. This does fix the 1 FPS problem during the opening sequence when you are talking to the doctor and the game is epic laggy.

You can probably, rather than remove the codec entirely, just go into the audio configure options, select the directshow menu, and add the New Vegas executable (in steamapps/common/fallout directory) to the exclusion list. Be sure to do it for both the 64 and 32 bit versions if you have both installed.

I tried the exception previously, nadda. Also completely gutted the codex, nadda.
