I killed him. All these emo puppy killers and annoyingly "crazy" members of the Dark Brotherhood all need to die. They're hired Assassins, not some kind of ritualistic cult.

Roots Bethesda, get back to them!
the brotherhood's roots were oblivion, and they were much more "emo puppy killers" than the disgrace that is the brotherhood in skyrim, and they are a cult to sithis (which is an actual being, he is chaos, he was the first spirit along side his brother [i forgot his rothers naem though])

on to ciccero, the only member of the actual brotherhood in skyrim, i loved him but killed him, no reason really just felt like doing it

if his voice wasn't so high pitched and screechy i would probably roll with him, since cicero is...well high pitched and screechy i usually just spare him. Any way lucien or whatever wouldn't shut up about the dread father not wanting to deal with cicero yet..so i had to let him live.

I didn't kill him, he's loyal to the brotherhood in my opinion. As opposed to the real traitor in the storyline. I just think he's protective of the Night mother to the point of insanity and kills people even if they just bad mouth the night mother.

Felt good to see him at the very end of the DB quest.

The whole DB in Skyrim is cheesy and lame, he's no worse than most of the rest of them. Although his voice is a bit extra grating.

Did cicero really break the 5 tenets though?
Considering that the DB in skyrim were led by someone using the name and reputation but refusing to follow the tents themself.
I also don't remember reading anything about a Keeper before skyrim and how the tenets are applied to that role.

Sithis isn't a concious being. Seriously, what's so hard to understand?

He is now according to Skyrim, what's so hard to understand? The more Beth unravel MK's horrible ego-trip fluff the better :flamethrower:

I killed him, because Astrid told me to do so :)

But why must I kill Astrid? I can forgive everything she did to me :(

Read up a little on ES Lore. Sithis is Padomay. They are the same. Padomay is one of two entities that created the universe. The concept of what we call "Sithis" is simply a large play on the concept of the origin of the universe. The stories you would hear in Oblivion "in the beginning there was nothing, only Sithis" is truer than some may have thought though rooted in misguidance. What led the Nightmother to begin to worship a nonexistant (well, I guess he can't NOT exist, but I believe it is said he split into the Daedra) is a little mind boggling. It can be assumed she simply chose to differentiate from the Morag Tong (The Morrowind cult that the DB sprang from) in a way that allowed the assassins to simply change worship from one being to another. After all, Padomay/Sithis does represent chaos, which isn't altogether different that what the Daedra represent. The phrase "Sithis is nothing" could even be used as a metaphor to represent the lack of morals that one must have in order to be a "devout worshipper". Also, I think a large reason the Night Mother is powerful (well, she does talk to you as a dead body and bestows upon you the Blade of Woe found in Oblivion) is simply because she was worshipped. Worship brings power, especially in the ES universe. However, this is all speculation and it has been years since I have studied ES Lore so I could be wrong on some accounts. Also, if you dare insult MK again, I will destroy you :flamethrower:

Back to Cicero: I killed him. Found him useless as I had wanted to kill him ever since I heard his ridiculous voice. I think that the entire DB found in Skyrim is not the true DB in my book. The DB is simply a group of brainwashed hitmen guided by a code of honor. In Skyrim, there is no code. Then the code is forced upon you in a way no one wants.

EDIT: Fixed a word.

He's an irritating wackjob who killed Loreius because I refused to help him and told the guard to check what was in his crate (I wish I could have told him just to check instead of making an accusation). He deserves to die.

There was Anu and Padomay in the beginning, Sithis being another name for Padomay, aka the constant changing and dynamics of the universe. Auriel is the spirit first-born of Anu, yet it isn't a being rather than a pure force of nature. Order vs. Change. Of course, the Dark Brotherhood is going to do what they want, and it could be possible that they believed it/him into existence.
