Civil War after peace treaty

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 6:41 am

So, I jsut did the quest about the peace treaty, Season Unending, and I didnt do any faction missions. However, it seemed like I was able to still Join the Stormcloacks after the peace treaty, does the peace treaty actually influence the Civil War anyway? All it seems to do is switch some holds between the factions, but those holds dont even come up in the civil war. Can I jsut do the Civil War right after the Peace treaty or do special things happen?

It's a temporary ceasefire so that you can do your thing at Dragonreach, not a peace treaty to end the war.

At least, I think so...

Its supposed to prevent you from completing any Civil War quest until you finish the MQ. I dont really know though, I can't progress through Season Unending. :(

It does.

I was partway through the Civil war when I Was off to do some fort missions and couldn't do them.

Once the Main quest was complete I was able to resume the Civil war.

They emphasize throughout the game that it's just an Armistice untill Alduin is dealt with.

Well, at least that's something then, but I am kinda disappointed, I loved both the Empire and Stormcloaks but now it seems I have to choose between them. I hoped they could band together to collect real elven ears with each other. I join Stormcloaks, even though the Empire is the Thalmor's strongest opposition, General Tullius seems too much of a Thalmor bootlicker to me....

SPOILER(cant find the spoilter button)

Except on the moment of his dead, then he suddenly hates em
