Do cleared dungeons respawn?

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 8:24 am

I've cleared out a few caves and ruins now and I notice that the in-game map has actually marked them "cleared".

Does that mean that they will always remain empty now? Or ... after a certain time passes ... will new critters re-spawn inside?

oh yeah most of the dungeons respawn, this game sure is dynamic, you kinda get the feelings there is always gonna be a lot to do. my quest docket is totally jammed with all kinds of quests and i haven't even been to a few towns still, and i'm level 30

OK ... so they don't stay empty.

When they respawn 30 days later does the "cleared" label stay or does it disappear?

Let me explain.

They all respawn. But NOT exactly when the "cleared" message disappears.

I've been trough a dungeon party yesterday. Went trough serveral ones just for killing and killing.

Alright. Looted too much. Went to the shop to sell.

one ingame-day later I decided to find some ores and went to the already cleared dungeons thinking "No worries about killing nobody. I've cleared "yesterday"".

But, for my surprise, 3 ou 4 dungeons respawned!! While others had not!

That said:

Do not trust in "Cleared". There's a minimum and maximum time for respawn!

Thanks for all the info Heizer.

So the 'cleared' label does disappear. So much for keeping track of visited dungeons that way.

the loot levels as you do... it is more common to find glass/ebony items at level 50 than it is at lvl 20
