Im > < close to breaking that disk in 2.

My desire to play is SLIGHTLY outweighing my desire to put the skyrim disc in the oven and laugh evilly as all the bugs inside die. So there is Vilkas following me around trying to arrest me, random crashes, freezing everytime i open my menu and sometimes when i open my favorites. Sometime i just run too far and the game freezes. Why is there even code for Vilkas functioning as a guard? Something they forgot to do? Fine. But forgetting to finish something that was pointless anyway? I dont understand it. So now in order to get rid of him I'm going to try to clear all of my bounties (like 40k which I dont have) and do his quest (that I dont want to do). And I cant simply ignore him because he interrupts ALL of my dialogue.

Seriously, How is it possible for a "finished" game to have this many obvious bugs? So when a tester tried to walk into a house and it took 1 min to load, what did they do? just say "ok" and keep going?

Well, what you need to realize is that it's just your game that is messed up. I play skyrim on PC and have never had any problems. It has done the random crash thing 3 times but that's the only problem I've ever encountered so it's no big deal for me.

I'm sorry, OP, for all the troubles you are having. I need to ask you a few questions. Have you killed a bunch of NPCs? Have you entered a lot of dungeons and caves before getting the quests that relate to them? What system are you playing on PC, PS3, 360?

Are you fed up with the game and on console?

Sell it.

On PC?

Breaking the disk won't help it's tied to your account.

Sorry to hear man but you are on of the unlucky that have a really bugged out game.I'm on 360 and have only have had the normal stuff( NPCs not respawning when I clear an area, atomic nirnroots, and a couple of quest items stuck in inventory). But I wouldn't break it just trade it in (if your a console player) and get Mass effect 3, pretty good game that one is

And the best place to look for help in getting around those bugs would be the http://www.gamesas.com/forum/179-skyrim-hardware-and-software-issues-subforums/ forums, not General.

I thought the same thing when it happened to me. BE PATIENT. It takes about 30 secs to 1 min before people start speaking again. Now, if you are sitting there for longer than a minute or 2 than you have a problem.

I don't know what your problem is, but if you're straddling the game's minimum requirements you might run into issues like this.

i dont think they tested the game
