Am I the only one that would greatly like to see "on touch" spells make a return? Ranged magic is well covered but close Quarters Magic is sorely missed. For those who haven't played previous entries in the series, touch spells dealt considerably more damage than their ranged counterparts, the one caveat being you had to be closed se enough to touch them to deal the damage. Thoughts?

I thought they were cool and more spells is always good.

My mage is the nervous type and appreciates longer range spell casting. Plus I love seeing lightning streak across a room! I could see touch spells being useful for stealthy types.

One of my favorites was Drain Health. I liked walking up behind someone, touching them on the back and watch them fall to the ground. So yes I wish they make a return.

I do feel as though there are a few spells missing from the game but 'on touch' spells are the least of my concerns. I'm happy with the 'continuous casting' spells and cloaks really.

I was thinking spell and shield, but stealth magic would be amazing...the kill animations especially.

I loved using touch spells with an archer. They would have the bow for ranged damage, then if someone got too close would use an Absorb Heath, or touch Shock. Of course in Oblivion you could also block with your bow and use your touch destruction spell at the same time.
