Now it might be just me on this, but I've noticed that some of the factions are representative of players.

The Thalmor: Represent the majority of TES fans. They act all superior and pure and will talk down about any other games series for ruining TES.

The Nords: Represent the Skyrim fans. They hate the Dunmer in Windhelm(read below) for not contributing and just sitting around complaining.

The Dunmer(Windhelm only): Represent the Morrowind fans. They constantly complain about the Nords for keeping them down and forcing them to live in a slum.

There might be more, but I'm lazy that way.
Then again I might just be seeing things.

They all seem like a stretch to me. Regardless, discussing how various groups dislike eachother is hardly a productive topic.
