collecting all the dragon claws

Post » Thu Jun 07, 2012 3:13 pm

I think that there should have been a big quest where you had to collect all the dragon claws, there is a quest on collecting all the dragon priest mask, so why not the claws.
In the end of the quest you had to use all the claws to open a huge door in order to find...
what would you want to find at the end of that door?

theres a quest to find all the masks? I have them all but it was never quest related. And I think I may also have all the dragon claws, I try to display them in my house in solitude but they always end up falling from the ledge on the 3rd floor...... VERY annoying......

But yeah that would have been neat if the claws all lead to opening 1 uber door. Possibly they could have been all used to lock away a very powerful enemy. That would be sweet!

tbh I think they should have just tied all the claws into a door that let you go to the Dragon Priest shrine.

Outside of that...

Be awesome if it unlocked a door leading into a cavern holding the massive Dwemer god construct, upon which you immediately get your butt handed to you.

I never got a quest entry either for any of the masks, and yes I have also obtained the one from behind the dragon head in the time paradox.

that was the secret, you just gave it away, well i guess it wasn't a quest but it did give you something for collecting all of them.

Yes I know what they all do, and what they open. That place is how I found out there were more to collect but thanks anyway.

well, just in case anybody was wondering, i would want to find an ancient ruin with draugr graybeards protecting a wall that contains a special shout of some kind, maybe that shout could turn anything in its way into ash piles.

I was thinking something along those lines as well, finding a uber powerful shout... like the World Eater Shout... unless your character is truly evil though I would not use it. Remember the old Ultima Series games??? They had an Armageddon Spell that you could cast that would kill everyone in the world?? I was thinking that is what this shout would do... just incinerate everyone into ash piles. It would make for an interesting dilema though.

well, i don't know about killing every npc in the world, i would think that the world would feel rather lonesome and the remaining npc's would be the annoying unkillable kids and important characters.

The quest for the Masks isn't tracked by the journal. You have to happen upon it. Go look around the surface ruins of Labyrinthian.

Well that is why I said you wouldn't use it, unless your character was purely evil... and bent on world descruction. It would just be a bit of Role-Playng fodder really.... not anything serious (unless you use it...LOL)

maybe the shout would turn all the npcs into enemies, like nords into draugrs and so on, then you could at least chop at something.
