Ok so i have been collecting swords lately and i am trying currently to get one from the redgaurds that is the scimitar. How can i get this one without killing the guys that are looking for that girl in whiterun? Oh and if anyone can think of any other swords i could collect that would be appreciated:)

Was just reading your post. There is a scimitar that is easy to find. Simply head to dawnstar and follow the coastline west about a quater of the way to solitude. There is a small boat wrecked on the coast with a scimitar in it.

Why don't you just talk to the redguards that enter whiterun at the start, go to the inn near the marketplace, once inside take a left and talk to the female redguard. Follow the questline there and go kill yourself some redguard assassins. you will have like 8-10 scimitars after that.
