Dear Bethesda, Obsidian, and Forum People,

Congratulations on selling out on the Collector's Edition in New Zealand and Australia!

This hasn't happened before in the history of Games I Really Want to Buy.

However, this makes me wonder what to do with this pile of money here that I'd really like to give to you.

Do I buy the standard edition when it comes out, or is it worth holding out hope that you might possibly release more copies of the Collector's Edition?

You'll surely be able to find copies of the CE on Ebay after the release, albeit at an increased amount. They might be on Amazon at some point as well, via third party sellers, assuming they're currently sold out there too.

You can still get copies of Fallout 3 collectors edition even, so i am sure it wouldn't be a problem to find one..

Ok. Imagine a country in which things cannot be shipped to you from overseas, or if so, retardedly. That country is New Zealand.

So, this question: Will there be Collector's Editions released after release date, or is this just a pre-release thing?

Probably helps I pre-ordered it pretty much the second a release date was given.

Pretty sure they will have some left over CEs. I mean, at my local Fry's, they have a bunch of Mafia II CEs, BioShock CEs, a crapload of SC2 CEs, some Reach LEs...and the list goes on. No reason why there wouldn't be some extra, just gotta go early probably.

hey im from nz too good thing i made sure too pre order it when it got announced lol but normally eb games and the gamesman have left over collectors editions for stuff and i dont think ive ever heard of a game releasing more collectors editions once it comes out

It been sold out for a awhile now

The gamestop where I pre-ordered mine said they were all out of CE's and asked me if that was ok, to which I replied "that's quite alright" but just because I don't buy collector's anythings (first may be Diablo 3) I'm surprised they are in fact sold out where I live. (At gamestop anyways)

Still PC copies available according to EB games.

Be glad that thereare at least CE's, which will probably mean there will be more coming. Especially if the demand is so high, would be a rather stupid thing to do if they didn't since the CE costs more.
I have looked all over the place and still can't find a dutch online store that sells the CE PC version. I ordered mine at my local gamestore so they better have it when the 22nd comes around. Otherwhise I'm camping outside their doors the entire friday and weekend demanding my game. They are open on saturdays and sunday's anyway so if they don't give up my lovely CE I'm going to be a very angry camper.

You know what you should do, Sunago? Just ask around as many different places as you can.

I asked this awesome NZ website: www.mightyape.co.nz , if they were ordering any more copies, and they said they had a couple left even though the website said they were sold out

I'd say Ebay too but you said you have a hard time getting things from overseas in NZ. Try getting in good with your local game store employees so they can keep an eye out on a spare CE for you. One of them will probably be able to hook you up. Iunno..worth a shot.

call aroun the first few days after release i'd be real surprised if there wasn't a least a few unsold CE's in your area, i'd try your non gaming stores if your trying to get it on release day they'll probably have a few non reserved CE's but i'd go early

You waited Way too long to pre-order, your faith in wasteland may be weak! I recommend large doses of plutonium. :fallout:

I hope not, I think the CE should stay as limited as possible, so no offence but if you didn't preorder one that is your own fault. On the bright side though there will be copies available somewhere online that ships to new Zealand.
