Sorry in advance if this question has been asked/answered a zillion times already, I haven't been around here for a while.

I pre-ordered collector's editions of New Vegas for both PC and X360 (for a friend). Now, some 3 months later, I'm told that
the PC version is not available. And that they can only order it for PS3 and X360. Does anyone know why this is and if a
PC version of the CE is available in Europe at all? I prefer a Dutch version to go with my CE of Fallout 3, but I'll order a
different version if I have too. I've looked around quite a bit but can't find the answer myself, so I'm hoping someone here
can shed some light on this. Thanks in advance!

As mentioned a few places, the CE wasn't canceled for PC in Europe. We'll continue to update this http://bethblog.com/index.php/2010/08/17/fallout-new-vegas-pre-order-details-for-europe-australia-and-south-africa/ with news on the CE/pre-orders items in Europe.

Thanks for your reply. I prefer not to wait til the last moment to see if any store in the Netherlands will get the CE.
So I decided to pre-order a UK version from GAME, only to learn that it's "UK only". Anyone know of stores that
allow me to pre-order? I prefer a Dutch version but if there won't be one, I'll have to import it.

Yesterday I stood corrected. The game's CE wasn't cancelled for Europe, just for the Netherlands. All Dutch retailers who had previously carried the CE for PC had removed it from their website. Because many of them also had stores in other European countries, I jumped to the wrong conclusion. It seems only Dutch players are left in the rain. Yay.

Not only the Netherlands. In Belgium I had pre-ordered my CE too and got a phonecall to tell me the CE for Europe had been cancelled. So I ordered it from GAME in the uk... let's hope they dont retract the CE there as well.

but it's the extra pre-order bonus material that's UK only, not the actual CE. So I'll give that a shot
and like you, hope that it doesn't get retracted there as well.
