Can you confirm the earliest availability of the ranked college robes? Sold by the master mages.

Apprentice Robes - character level 8
Adept Robes - character level 16
Expert Robes - character level 24
Master Robes - character level 32 ?

And is it independent from the skill levels? So its not necessary to have a single magic skill above 50 for adept robes to be available for buying.

The http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Generic_Magic_Apparel descriptions are incorrect I believe. It says for example that adept robes are not available before level 20. Perhaps that only applies for loot.

I don't know about selling from merchants, but i've found master level robes on enemies at level 20.
