This element for me , doesn't fit well with the gameplay, the area is then forcefully closed down, you can't re-explore it after you do some other quests
I think this whole questing idea doesn't really work with adventure games - they need to refine this element of gameplay. I do not like to see stuff closed down forever ... the game should be long enough so the story pans out so the areas are reopened.
Hidden stuff for hardcoe players should be placed around the world - I don't like the feel of the game made for noobs - it sacrifices the game design and gameplay
With this I can safely say - that all Metroid Prime's still remain the best ever adventure games - Rage is not of that type if it's seen as an adventure, but i would like the refinement as the RPG element stands out well to much to call it unique, while the main thing of an adventure ... the last boss, is completely missing.
And look the irony ... metroid are all console games - and they beat ALL "X360" games and PS3 portware. Infact , Xbox has neglected PC-derivatives , no legacy no nothing , Xbox is the parasite of the gaming industry. A cult society of stupid noobs was created by it , should we smell conspiracy, dumbing down americans even more via entertainment ?
Too much is leavreaged on these Quests ... im not an RPG guy so i genuinely never liked this mehanic. Quests fit into World of Warcraft ... let them stay there imo.
How many times did i say there's really no competition to first-party nintendo games. Yet again.
ID Proved that they cannot beat nintendo/retro studios either
This comes out if your market target is the 15 and less old breed. A waste of money, time, effort, life and career, for some that in the end can't see the underlayer and appreaciate your work - no community has been created by targeting consoles - most of a few active people on these forum are 90% PC guys, which ... a DEMANDING community that never got anything to chew since 2000 and [censored] 5.If i ever end up making games in my life - I won't make games for kids - I rather quit and go making hamburgers.
