So my mum and I are thinking (seriously) about going to ComicCon next year but getting tickets seems a lot harder than it should be. I've never really looked into it properly before but it seems as though the only guaranteed way to get tickets is to be there this year?

Has anyone just bought their tickets online without having gone the previous year? They're saying the tickets sell out very quickly but I'm not sure if that's just bravado to try and get you to buy them early.
