Companion and Brotherhood jobs(spoiler)

Post » Sun Jun 03, 2012 3:35 am

Am i the only one, who thinks these jobs are silly and boring?

both started off ok, while trying to join, but once your full member, the jobs are stupid.

What will be my next companion job, i have to get rid of a roach from a cabin? A butterfly from a house?

Also, your killing meaningless people for the Mother, an unemployed bum, has 12K to pay for hits???? seriously, i have done 10 hits for him. Also, i figured the hits would get good, instead, they are meaningless and people are decent, not scumbags.

I figured i would be assisinating some important people, imperials. I got so bored, i went up to Thalmer Embassy and 1shot everyone in courtyard, needs filler.

Well, yes, they can't make infinite amounts of different quests.

If you haven't killed anyone important for the Dark Brotherhood, you haven't gone far enough. Believe me, you're going after big daddy eventually lol.

The Brotherhood are not benevolent. They deal with assassinations the Morag Tong would never touch and the people you kill will not always deserve a brutal end. That's the way the Brotherhood are, by the will of the Dread Father and his bride.

I think the jobs are alright, but I would prefer more variety and I'd love to see the Guild questlines extended. I love some of the characters, I'd love to learn more about them.

Sorry to tell you this but the guild quests in this game are a let down. The DB quest is short, just like all the other guild quests. I've finished every guild quest.

I spend my time exploring and I play on expert. I enjoyed the civil war quests though.

Yeah, the Dark Brotherhood Forever quest is pretty pointless.
There's no satisfaction in assassinating an NPC that was spawned specifically for that purpose.

As an alternative I now take burglary jobs from the Thieves Guild and then assassinate the occupants.
The TG are idiots anyway, how could they make me guild master if Delvin already knows I'm the Listener?

its even more stupid taking side jobs when youre the leader of the TG. Shouldnt the boss be the one handing out jobs?

That too, but the only guy that actually tries to steal something always gets killed by the entire town. So the rest are probably better off just hanging out in the Ratways.
What really annoys me though is the guy in Riften who still warns me about Maeven Blackbriar because she has ties with the The Thieves Guild and the Dark Brotherhood.
I should be able to say something to him like; Cool story bro, but I'm the Thieves Guild Master and the Listener

I'm confused as to which quests you're referring to. If you're still going through the guild questlines, I don't think you have a right to complain until you've finished them. But, I suspect you might be referring to the radiant quests that you can get indefinitely after you've finished the guild questlines. These are there to give you something to do; it's impossible to have an endless stream of high profile quests.
