Basically on my save for my only character I've encountered the Animal Extinction bug where the animal i'm asked to kill has already been killed and thus I'm stuck on that quest and therefore I'm stuck as a werewolf (which i never use). This wasn't a massive deal UNTIL details of dawnguard arrived: you can turn into cool looking vampire monster but not while being a werewolf.

So anyone think that quest will be ever patched and will it help me anyway as so far any bug i've encountered that has apparently been patched (mainly 'blood on the ice') only stops problems from happening in the first place and doesn't help if its already happened?
