I was walking through Riften and farkas insisted I hunt a dragon with him. Problem is, he constantly talked to me to the point where I couldn't take two steps. I had to enter the code to skip the quest. Now the chick and some other dude are doing the same thing. I tried to make them wait but they keep hounding me. It is awful! I can't even get enough time to pause the game they are so busy taking turns trying to get my attn. Is there anyway to skip this crap?

You must have a bounty somewhere. They did this to me when I was trying to join.. I said forget it and reloaded before entering..
Later I noticed I had a bounty in another hold.

Went and paid it off and had no such problems with them..

For some stupid reason Bethesda set them as guards... If you have a bounty they will keep doing this.
