For some reason Ed-E has disapeared on me He shows on the map as being on the strip but no matter how much I wait or continue to play he is no where to be found but when I go to take the Kings dog for surgery the dog keeps growling at Ed-E as if he is still with me. Any idea on how to fix this issue?

Try going to where you found him in Primm.

If he's not there wait a few days.

If he's still not there you're SOL.

They're coming up with a patch, but it will not work retroactivly, so it won't fix it if you've already lost him.

You may have to load an earlier save.

I got the same problem with Rex.What you can do is use the console commands player.placeatme:
Standard: 0010c769
Weapons upgraded: 001694e2
Armor upgraded: 001694e0
Example player.placeatme 0010c769.He will reapear.
