Hi all,

Not sure if this is a bug or just an annoying aspect of gameplay...

I had two companions in tow and travelled over difficult terrain for a few minutes without checking they were still with me. On encountering some enemies I discovered the companions were nowhere to be seen. I travelled back the way I'd come but there was no sign of them. I've also visited the places I originally hooked up with them, but no joy.

Can anyone tell me if this IS a bug?

Also, if not, once companions are lost in this way, is it possible to find them again, or are they gone for good?

Yeah me too. I was doing missions in Freeside and around the time I took the mission from the Van Graafs to guard the door... poof gone. I love the flyin robot and the 1st recon sharpshooter. The funny thing is that other companions think they are still with me. If I try to add Rex he growls and the robot that doesn't exist.
